Essential Skills and Experience

• Sound knowledge on Unix and windows platform configuration, administration, troubleshooting and security hardening (RHEL, Solaris and IBM AIX, Windows Server 2016/2019).
• Knowledge and practical experience on application server setup, configuration and security implementation on Jboss, IBM Websphere and WebLogic.
• Hands on experience in RDBMS systems such as Oracle, DB2 and PostgreSQL.
• Good understanding about Web servers such as Apache, IBM HTTP Server and Microsoft IIS.
• Hardware/Software troubleshooting skill on server’s side as well as PC/Laptop.
• Good knowledge and practical experience in networking configuration such as network segmentation, configuring ADSL/DSL routers, L3 switches, Firewall, HTTP proxies (Forward and Reverse Proxies).
• Ability manage hardware evaluation and procurement process.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with a proven ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees.
• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure in a fast-paced on-time delivery environment.
• Understanding of security concepts, attack mitigation methods, and industry best practices.
• Degree in IT or equivalent qualification.
