Qualification
- BSc in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent is preferable.
- 3 – 5 years’ Experience of software development preferably with Python
- Experience in SQL (preferably PostgreSQL)
- Experience with server-side software, web services, distributed systems, REST APIs would be an added advantage.
- Knowledge in containers and cloud technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS and others)
- Hands on experience with Linux development/operations

Responsibilities
- Ability to write robust, readable, testable, and maintainable code.
- Updating the testing suites and pipelines to test the development.
- Liaising with team members and other teams to handle the deployment of code.
- Participating in the planning of the team’s work, refining Tasks and User Stories with Product Owners and QAs, contributing to defining the scope of products and projects.
- Championing best practices in software engineering and Agile / Scrum.
- Ability to peer reviewing other team members’ code.
