The Role

• Hired for the Colombo Office based in Sri Lanka.
• The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team player.

• 3+ year(s) experience in Software Engineering/Software Testing.

Responsibilities

• Contribute efforts in defining test strategies, test planning, execution and reviews.
• Coordinate with the team and interact with the client (for updates).
• Create (and review) the Test Cases from the Functional Specifications or Software Requirement Specification document.
• Measure the effectiveness of testing and design, whilst having to report any issues that you may come across.
• Actively work with the onshore development team, review user stories, designs with testability in mind and drive testability improvements in every solution.
• Bring innovation and industry trends in the Software testing space to your work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field).
• Strong knowledge of software testing processes, practices and test design techniques.
• Ability to think creatively, and generate and prioritize test cases.
• Knowledge of API testing, automated UI testing, Selenium, WebDriver, regression testing & SQL.
• A thorough familiarity with agile development methodologies, including Scrum.
• Experience in UI test automation using open-source tools such as Selenium and Playwright.
• Solid practical understanding of Agile Software Testing and Software Engineering principles.
• Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience with DevOps, Playwright.
• Strong knowledge in C# or JavaScript or any programming skills.
