UI UX Engineer

We are seeking an experienced UI/UX Engineer to join our team. As a UI/UX Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing user interfaces and user experiences for our digital products. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and product managers, to create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that enhance user satisfaction. You should have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and interaction design to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities:

User Research and Analysis:

• Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and motivations.
• Analyze user feedback, usability test results, and market research to inform design decisions.
• Create user personas, user journeys, and user flows to guide the design process.

UI/UX Design:

• Design intuitive user interfaces and user experiences for web and mobile applications.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mock-ups to demonstrate design concepts.
• Apply visual design principles to create visually appealing and consistent interfaces.

Usability Testing:

• Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to evaluate the effectiveness of designs.
• Analyze usability test results and identify areas for improvement.
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing outcomes.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with designers, developers, and product managers to translate requirements into design solutions.
• Communicate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders effectively.
• Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.

User Interface Development:

• Implement front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility of user interfaces.
• Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate UI components with the application.

Design System and Style Guide:

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and style guides.
• Ensure consistency and adherence to design standards across digital products.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
• Proven experience as a UI/UX Engineer or similar role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design skills.
• Proficiency in user-centered design principles and practices.
• Strong understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and usability principles.
• Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with responsive design and mobile-first approach.
• Knowledge of design systems and style guides.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
