UI/UX Lead

Job Description

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Multimedia, Graphic/Web Design, User Experience or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience in Mobile App and Web UI/UX design, preferably working on a large-scale digital projects or equivalent experience in a digital agency, media company, advertising agency.
• Interaction Design Foundation certification or equivalent
• A portfolio of previous design work. Preferably with a description of his/her role in the project, how the project was conducted, the challenges faced, how those challenges were overcome and the learnings.
• UX skills with the ability to create & annotate user experiences/ wireframes/prototypes.
• Passionate in identifying new trends, technologies and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate directly with stakeholders/clients.
• Experience in mentoring team members and ability to create the culture in the team
• Experience in design principles and design systems
• Experience with Information Architecture
• Ability to take creative direction and produce highly engaging designs that show a strong attention to details.
• Digital design, layout and typography skills with strong, clean visuals.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Invision, UXPin, Adobe XD, Figma or Framer..
• Able to manage multiple projects & tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong time management, communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong observation and analytical skills.
• Ability to compile and evaluate data gathered to make recommendations.
• Technical languages and frameworks, such as: HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JQuery, HighchartsJS, PHP, .Net, WordPress, SQL.
• Ability to communicate through the entire design/development stack – from IT infrastructure through coding & integration technologies in a responsive design environment.
• Experience with Design Sprint, Agile work environment.
• Experience in eCommerce or the telecommunications industry.
• Experience in the full development life cycle of mobile applications.
• Exposure to Design Systems such as Material Design and Atomic Design.
