Role

Encyte is looking for motivated, creative and highly detailed oriented web developers to join us. The role is responsible for the creation of web application components, screens and integration of APIs. You will be involved with both the technical and graphical aspects. The role is also charged with undertaking regular maintenance and updates of web applications.

‌Responsibilities

• · Create and maintain the repository of front-end components based on the UI designs provided.
• · Use of front-end components to create screens and complex UI components.
• · Integration and testing of backend APIs with front-end components
• · Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript with superior attention to detail
• · Experience in React / NodeJs / npm / composer / webpack
• · Ability in designing and maintaining a structured codebase that leverages internal or external APIs
• · Ability in testing one’s work, including across multiple browsers and devices, with a focus on performance & usability
• · Knowledge of performance-minded development and optimization
• · Strong work ethic, well-organized, results-oriented, and able to work both independently and with a team to meet deadlines
• · Maintains awareness of latest web standards and web technologies
