Senior Software Engineer (Angular)

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Angular) to join our Research and Development Centre in Colombo and be a part of our team of 300+ problem solvers who build brilliant tech, influencing billions of users globally.

It’s ideal if you are with:

• A Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification
• 3+ years’ experience in front-end development with Angular
• Passion for developing modern and contemporary front ends.
• Analytical with a focus on solving problems and achieving results.
• Very good communication skills in English (both verbal and written)
• Knowledge of agile software development practices (Scrum)
• Proactive, forward thinking and not reluctant to take initiative.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Angular, CSSS/SASS/HTML, ES6/JavaScript, and Typescript
• Very good knowledge of developing scalable web applications using Node.js.
• Good knowledge of RxJS-powered state management patterns and libraries
• Understanding of Angular component-based architecture (for modularity, reusability)
• Experience with JavaScript task runners such as gulp.js and Grunt
• Good understanding of front-end development standards and best practices
• Strong focus on implementing web interactions and usability/user experience.
• Familiarity with WCAG 2.x compliance, WAI-ARIA, A11Y is advantageous.

• Build strong work relationships with the client’s product development team.
• Liaise with domain experts/product owners to discuss ideas and suggestions.
• Collaborate with client’s product management and UI/UX design teams.
• A self‐motivated and results driven individual, and technology enthusiast.
