Assistant Procurement Manager
Requirements:
• Degree/MBA in Supply chain management /Procurement
• A minimum of 5 years hands on experience in procurement in a reputed organization
• Experience in data analysis using analytical tools
• Knowledge and work experience in SAP will be a credit
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Liaise, negotiate with foreign & local suppliers and follow up constantly
• Coordinate with relevant parties and plan the material requirements pertinent to the sales orders
• Explore prospective suppliers, where existing panel is not capable to achieve company standards
• Provide professional guidance and motivate the procurement team to meet the expected deliverables
• Coordinate with Finance and Logistic teams for facility arrangements and shipment clearance
• Perform procurement functions at compliance audits
• Ensure information status on all procurement activities in the ERP and intranet systems
• Comply with corporate governance, business ethics and regulatory obligation
Remuneration : Rs.125,000
Location : Ragama / Kadawatha
