Director of E-commerce Strategy
Responsibilities
- Act as the key strategy partner to the fast-growing TikTok e-commerce team; take a strategic and data-driven approach to provide recommendations on business growth
- Conduct in-depth analysis of e-commerce business, including traffic efficiency, user behavior, key stakeholders’ operation strategy (merchants/creators/MCNs), campaign budget management, etc.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build short-term and long-term strategic plans and drive high impact projects
- Deliver clear and actionable suggestions to business challenges and drive business execution
- Provide solid support for business growth through internal and external research and competitor benchmarking
Qualifications
- 5-8 years experience of strategic and analytical experience at leading tech companies or consulting / research / investment firms; owning practical mindset and demonstrating strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities; experience in livestream and e-commerce industry is preferred
- Fast learner, highly self-driven with curiosity and structured thinking; deep thinker with a good sense of judgment
- Excellent communication skills, can effectively handle cross-functional collaboration; highly responsible, independent, and resilient
- Skills such as SQL/Python will be a plus but not mandatory.
