ETL Developer (Senior Engineer)
Description
ETL developers are responsible for Implementing data preparation jobs for multiple platforms and performing data analysis and data reporting.
Main responsibilities and duties
- Developing and implementing ETL processes
- Developing and maintaining integration tools and utilities
- Testing databases and troubleshooting issues
- Providing maintenance support
- Performing root cause analysis and providing recommendations for resolution
- Collaborating with developers to provide advice and support
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in ETL development
- Knowledge of ETL concepts, tools and data structures (Microsoft SQL Server integration services)
- Ability to perform complex data analysis and troubleshooting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
