Preparing A Great Marketing Section For Your Business Plan

 

The airline division of John Keells Group comprises of Mack Air (Pvt) Ltd., a limited liability company, established on 7th of February 1980. With 38 years of prestigious history in the aviation industry, as a General Sales Agent, Mack Air has the honor of representing world renowned names in aviation within Sri Lanka as well as in Maldives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible in implementing and executing Marketing and Business Development strategies to the business unit.
  • Bringing in new business leads and achieving the set sales targets.
  • Visiting agents basedont he set weekly sales call plan to promote and cater to the agents needs while negotiating with teh principals 
  • Analyzing the market trends and conditions to identify growth opportunities for the product 
  • Preparing and maintain of monthly sales report and airline/agents perfromance reports which needs to be presented to the Management 
  • Maintaing a good realtionship with the principals and the clients 

 

Person Specifications

  • Vast knowledge in travel/ airline industry  
  • Proven Sales and revenue record 
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the travel/ airline or hospitality industry
  • A degree or a professional qualification in  Marketing or Digital Marketing will be an added advantage 
  • Excellent communication, Time management, planning and negotiation skills
  • Leadership Skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
