The airline division of John Keells Group comprises of Mack Air (Pvt) Ltd., a limited liability company, established on 7th of February 1980. With 38 years of prestigious history in the aviation industry, as a General Sales Agent, Mack Air has the honor of representing world renowned names in aviation within Sri Lanka as well as in Maldives.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible in implementing and executing Marketing and Business Development strategies to the business unit.
- Bringing in new business leads and achieving the set sales targets.
- Visiting agents basedont he set weekly sales call plan to promote and cater to the agents needs while negotiating with teh principals
- Analyzing the market trends and conditions to identify growth opportunities for the product
- Preparing and maintain of monthly sales report and airline/agents perfromance reports which needs to be presented to the Management
- Maintaing a good realtionship with the principals and the clients
Person Specifications
- Vast knowledge in travel/ airline industry
- Proven Sales and revenue record
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the travel/ airline or hospitality industry
- A degree or a professional qualification in Marketing or Digital Marketing will be an added advantage
- Excellent communication, Time management, planning and negotiation skills
- Leadership Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
