Senior Full Stack Developer (MERN Stack)

Silk Road Partners is a 4 day work week employer and Sri Lanka’s first company to do so.

For the Senior Full Stack Developer (MERN Stack) position, we’re looking for a candidate who is self-motivated and has a problem-solving mindset, as well as technical hands-on web development experience and proven leadership coaching or mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for completing tasks and projects on the back-end and also helping the front-end engineers with the overall app integration and architecture.
• Lead the entire web application development life cycle from concept stage to delivery and post-launch support.
• Coordinate with co-developers and keep project managers well informed of the status of development efforts.
• Assist the junior resources in effectively utilizing their skillset in project and web development.
• Keep up to date with new trends and best practices in web development technologies and programming languages.
• Innovate and apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to develop creative technological solutions.
• Collaborate with designers to create intuitive and responsive user interfaces and workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, or related field.
• 2 – 4 years of proven work experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task projects and deliverables.
• Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with JSON (MongoDB), Node.js, and React stack
• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, and Oracle.
• Should be familiar with RESTful API integration and AWS Services.
• Excellent verbal communication skills along with proficiency in the English language.
• Good troubleshooting skills.
