Senior Software Engineer – Java, Vacancies at 1 Billion Tech, Colombo, Sri Lanka.

We are looking for talented, energetic Senior Software Engineers – Java to work with some of our foreign clients.

Responsibilities

• Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable, unit testable code
• Work with globally distributed product development team with different cultures
• Understand very high-level requirements from customer and produce solutions which meet requirements and with high quality
• Mentor junior Engineers

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in IT/Software Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent professional qualification
• 4+ years of solid hands on experience in Java development
• Experience in Spring Boot ( Experience in Spring cloud would be an added advantage )
• Experience in MongoDB
• Very solid experience with OOP, OOD, Design Patterns
• In depth knowledge on Threads, Concurrency, Data Structures and Algorithms
• In depth knowledge on microservices
• Ability to provide innovative solutions and produce high quality code super faster
• Hands on with following tools: AWS services, TDD, Maven, JUnit
• Good command in English both oral and written.
