Specialist, PMO
Job Purpose
- Develop, implement and enhance edotco Group’s Program Management methodology and tools for use across the Group
- Monitor and report on high value and high impact projects across edotco Group to Senior Management on a timely basis, ensuring effective issue escalation and resolution towards the achievement of program/project objectives
- Manage dependencies, risks, and any changes to project scope, and partner with all relevant divisions to ensure successful completion of project deliverables.
- Define and manage Integration project activities, including developing and implementing detailed project plans with cross-functional team(s), 100-day plan initiatives and post-transaction transition programme management.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and implement Program Management methodology and tools.
- Track status of programme deliverables and milestones, including managing information distribution
- Coordination of programme level risk and issues
- Monitoring status of project transitioning into normal service
- Coordination of project and programme level reporting cycle
- Support acquisition integration by developing detailed project plans, change management procedures for projects and drive integration project plans
- Support in all integration related processes, including due diligence, migration of operations processes, tools and key integration activities e.g. Operations and HR
- Ad-hoc strategic projects, including developing project management framework, design project management improvement processes and design training and awareness programs for skill set improvement in operating countries
Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge
- Degree in Business, Engineering, IT-related field or equivalent
- 10 years of experience managing complex, multi-group, multi-disciplinary projects
- At least 7 years of experience managing projects related to Mergers and Acquisitions Integration
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams
- Prior exposure in telecommunication industry is an added advantage
Skills and Knowledge:
- Good knowledge of project management and ability to specify the solution set in detail to vendors
- Good working relationships with working teams
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse workforce
- Sound presentation skills to project stakeholders i.e. leadership team
