Technical Lead

Primary job role

The Application Technical Lead will be responsible for technical enhancements and features for custom developed software systems, and enhancing and supporting these applications as necessary to meet business goals.

Validation of design and technical specifications for new enhancements is key to the role holder.

Main duties/responsibilities

• Responsible for understanding the business requirements and validating the framework design and execution methodology
• Analyze business requirement documents and interact with business heads / functional heads / SBU heads to understand new software requirements
• Prepare the estimation and plan for requirements related to tools and technology
• Identify technical requirements based on the business requirement document
• Conduct development activities and guide the technical support team to resolve issues during deployment
• Contribute and manage all aspects of software development, including architectural decisions
• Develop and maintain software in the selected language following the coding standards and standard development practices set
• Conduct risk assessments with respect to architecture and prepare risk mitigation plans
• Work with various stakeholders during the planning and deployment phase, and ensure the solutions are deployed as per the plan
• Ensure that high-quality software systems are developed by the software development team within defined standards
• Provide technical direction and guidance for software developed by the team
• Ensure the software development team adheres to the defined coding standards and practices
• Mentor and train the software development team on new technologies as per the requirements of the company

Experience

• 6 to 8 years of relevant experience with strong knowledge in architecture and design principles

Technical knowledge

• Basic understanding in .Net
• Experienced in MsSQL, PostgreSQL, DB2
• Experienced in SSRS, RDL report development
• Experienced in the following opensource technologies:
• Docker
• GraphQL
• Nest.Js / Node Js
• Angular
• Kubernetes
